Privacy Policy

Your data, plainly

League Time runs leagues, so it needs some information about you. This page says exactly what, who in your league can see it, and how to get it deleted.

Effective 29 October 2026 · Version 1.0

The short version

  • We collect what a league needs to run: who you are, how to reach you, your playing history, and what happens in your games and chats.
  • No ads, no ad networks, no tracking across other apps or websites, and no analytics SDKs.
  • We never sell your information or share it for advertising.
  • Your league's staff and your teammates see what they need to; the public sees almost nothing.
  • You can delete your account in the app at any time.

1. Who we are

League Time (the app, and the website at myleaguetime.com) is published by Justin Karl Sypek, trading as SYTEK Consulting, LLC, in the United States. In this policy, "we" means us. Each league that uses League Time is run by its own director, who decides who plays where and manages the league's records.

3. How we use it

  • To run your league: schedules, rosters, chats, lineups, scoresheets, stats, officials and suspensions.
  • To place players and teams fairly, using playing-history ratings that league directors review.
  • To send what you'd expect: sign-in codes, team invitations, game reminders, chat and lineup notifications, and notices when a game is moved or cancelled.
  • To keep chats safe: reports go to your league's staff, who can remove messages.
  • To fix bugs and answer support requests.

We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.

4. Who can see what

  • Your league's director and staff see the profiles of players in their league (including phone, birth year, playing history and membership numbers), plus rosters, scoresheets and reported messages. Each staff member can only change the areas their director gives them.
  • Your captains see their roster's names, numbers, RSVPs and contact details, and the playing-history rating used for placement.
  • Teammates see names, numbers, RSVPs, lineups and stats, and messages in chats they're part of.
  • Captains looking for players see free agents' name, experience, note, email and phone, but only if you turn on Looking for a team.
  • Officials and scorekeepers see the names and numbers of players in the games they work.
  • The public can see a league's posted rink or field schedule (team names and times) if the league shares that link. Nothing else is public.

5. Services we use

These companies process data for us, only to provide League Time:

  • Supabase: database and sign-in, hosted in the United States.
  • Microsoft Azure: hosts this website and sends our emails (Azure Communication Services).
  • Expo: relays push notifications to Apple and Google.
  • Apple: Sign in with Apple and push notifications on iPhone and iPad.
  • Google: push notifications on Android (Firebase Cloud Messaging).

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect people's safety.

6. On your device

The app keeps your sign-in session, notification settings and unsent scoresheet drafts on your device, so the scoresheet works with no signal. Signing out or deleting the app removes them. This website uses no cookies and no trackers.

7. Keeping and deleting data

We keep your information while your account is open and your leagues use League Time.

Delete your account in the app under Account › Delete account. Your sign-in is deleted immediately and your phone number is cleared. Records that belong to your league's history (rosters, scoresheets and stats from games already played) stay with the league, no longer linked to any account. To have those removed or anonymized as well, ask your league director or contact us; we'll do it unless the league needs them to settle a dispute or the law requires us to keep them.

8. Children

League Time is for adult and teen players and the adults who run leagues. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Your choices and rights

  • See and correct your details in the app under Account › About you and Account › My leagues.
  • Turn notifications off in the app or in your phone's settings.
  • Delete your account in the app.
  • Ask us for a copy of your information, or to delete or correct it, using the form below. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have further rights; we honor these requests for everyone.

10. Security

Everything travels over encrypted connections. Database rules limit each person to what their role in a league allows. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong that affects you, we'll tell you.

11. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects what we collect or who sees it, we'll also tell you in the app.

12. Contact

Questions or requests about your data: use the contact form and choose My account or data.
